FC BARCELONA: UNDER KOEMAN

Most of the successful barcelona coaches are their own players who have their DNA in them. They know the actual barcelona gameplay. Koemann has given good results with the Dutch national team and have also served and won UCL with Barcelona. His approach has evolved as the season has progressed based on injuries and the performances of the players. We have improved majorly in three areas compared to the start of the season, and for the past 3 years for that sake; penetration, width, and movement of the ball. In this answer, I will primarily choose the second leg against PSG as a focal point. Let’s start with penetration:  Koeman has opted to use Dembele as Barcelona’s ‘number 9′. Dembele is not a striker but his movement of the ball to get into shooting positions has been nothing short of impressive, considering how little he has played as a ‘9’. There have been instances where he should have put more chances away but his speed and movement of the ball to get into dangerous position...

Indian super league: Is ISL the answer to India's soccer woes?

One great thing about ISL is that it attracts a huge crowd and brings those people into the stadium who don’t even have the slightest idea of how football works. Having said that, I am not a fan of how the entire thing is projected as a Bollywood movie of sorts. This is a great turn off for all those fans who have been passionately watching football all their lives. What’s more cringeworthy than watching the cameras panning into celebrities every n0w and then? Nothing is bigger than the game and as long as ISL does well to remember it, it’ll do just...

All you need to know about European super league

The European Super League is an initiative brought in by Florentino Perez who’s the President of Real Madrid CF to “help football at every level and take it to its rightful place in the world," (as said by the man himself). There are also other members and clubs involved too.  AC Milan, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid & Tottenham Hotspur. According to Sky Sports , these are the teams who have agreed to take part in this proposed European Super League. What do these teams have in common? simple. They are some of the most popular and well-supported clubs across the likes of England, Spain and Italy. Without these teams, their top domestic leagues (Premier League, La Liga and Serie A respectively) become less lucrative to take part in as a fan, player, manager, etc . The leagues themselves, FIFA, UEFA and just about every noteworthy football associations under the sun have...
