COVID-19: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

IN THIS POST , we will talk about the global pandemic that we are suffering.

first and foremost , it is really important to know that as of today  , there is still much we do not know about SARS-COV-2 (i.e. the official name of the novel coronavirus) and COVID-19  ( i.e. the official name of the disease caused by SARS-COV-2).

COVID-19 is a highly transmittable and pathogenic viral infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 ( SARS-COV-2) . It can affect upper respiratory tract (sinuses, nose ,and throat) or lower respiratory tract (windpipe and lungs). It is highly contagious in nature because of which within first two months of spread, it was subsequently reported in more than 100 countries in the world. The human to the human spreading of the virus occurs due to close contact with an infected person ,exposed to coughing , sneezing , respiratory droplets or aerosols. These aerosols can penetrate the human body (lungs) via inhalation through the nose or mouth.

By the end of 2019 , WHO was informed by the Chinese government about several cases of pneumonia with unfamiliar etiology . It is believed to be the outbreak was initiated from  the Hunan seafood market in wuhan city of china and rapidly infected more than we assumed. And others believe china has not been transparent about the origin of the outbreak.

There is very little doubt that COVID-19 is dangerous , But just how dangerous requires a much deeper dive . Here were some of of the key takeaways . COVID-19 disproportionately affects older people ,and those with pre-existing medical conditions.

As i stated at the beginning ,there are still many unknowns out there . That is why there is no simple answer to this virus , how dangerous can be-
  i) there is no vaccine against COVID-19 ( one that can be deployed safely at scale)
ii)We do not know how many people are infected , because (very likely) many people are infected and asymptomatic.
iii) SARS-COV-2 will continue to mutate and evolve ( although scientists aren't that worried about this)
iv) It's hard to predict the second order effects (e.g. policy under/over-reaction, economic disruption etc.)

To make matters worst , with so much uncertainty on a topic that is highly technical and specialized -- amplified by modern social media platforms which tend to reward simple and extreme vs complex and nuance -- there is also a significant amount of misinformation out there.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 , We must follow above instructions and help ourselves ,and our families also. This will past also ,we just need to be patient with this .and have faith in our government with whatever measures they are takling......

WISHING YOU LOVE AND BLESSINGS.

Mbappe's brilliance shines as PSG secures triumphant start to 2023-24 season against Lens.

Kylian Mbappe, who had made a notable impact as a substitute the previous weekend, was reinstated in PSG's starting lineup, forging a dynamic trio up front alongside Ousmane Dembele and Marcos Asensio. Regrettably, PSG had to contend with the absence of their defensive stalwarts – Juan Bernat, Presnel Kimpembe, and Nuno Mendes – all sidelined due to injuries. The recent acquisitions, Lee Kang-in and Goncalo Ramos, were also unfortunate absentees. Despite grappling with a defeat in their preceding match, Franck Haise opted to entrust the same starting eleven with the task at hand. This selection included Florian Sotoca as the spearhead of the attack. The much-discussed signing, Elye Wahi, remained on the substitutes' bench, while the unavailability of key players like Jimmy Cabot, Wuilker Farinez, and Wesley Said, due to injuries, posed an additional challenge.
