REAL MADRID: THE KINGS OF EUROPE

Real Madrid won 3 three consecutive UCL titles during 2016–2018 because they had a great squad , a great man manager and p one of the greatest football player of all time if not the greatest in Cristiano Ronaldo.

Zidane's tenure started in January 2016 and took over a struggling side and managed to conquer the Camp Nou in his first visit. This was a vital momemt in that campaign and restored faith in the team and fans. They had some impressive performances like winning the El Clasico 2–1 at the Camp Nou and breaking Barca's 38 match unbeaten run. At the end of the end season they were the champions of Europe and narrowly lost the league to FC Barcelona.

Now the question that arises is "What makes Real Madrid so good in the Champions league?
Real Madrid consider the UCL their competition simply because of how successful they've been. It's a trophy that is coveted by the team and fans. Madrid are a different beast in Europe partly due to this history and also the experience and mentality and of course it helps to have an incredibly talented squad.

The example that comes to my mind is The most recent tie against PSG is a very good example of this. It's Madrid's mentality and experience that won them the tie in the end. Having played under such pressure and at the highest level consistently, Madrid were unaffected by the pre match talk, the ultras or the atmosphere. After the game Julian Draxler conceded that Madrid looked very calm during the game and Arigo Sacchi observed that Madrid played with a cigar in their mouth. Credit where it's due to Zidane and the boys but it's this kind of mental strength that could tip the results in your favour. Same goes for last season's final, juve collapsed in the second half and Madrid went on to score twice to win their 12th champions league.

Their Never Say Die attitude and mastering the art of doing well in Champions League without hitting the top form. Los Blanco's couldn't have been in a worse form in the season and Parisiens count have had a better chance.

U can't write them off in Champions League no matter how bad they perform in La Liga. While in the league a medicore FC Barcelona team with Messi puts down their pant often. Ofcourse that has to go down their Never say die attitude.

The Galactico method employed by Perez makes Madrid a club of sprinters, not marathon runners. The Champions League is for sprinters!
