Ronaldo gets his Iconic No. 7 jersey


Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the iconic No 7 jersey again at Manchester United; Ronaldo reclaims the number from Edinson Cavani, who has been wearing it since his arrival. Cavani will take No 21 jersey. 



Since the departure of Daniel James to Leeds United on the Deadline Day, Manchester United have been given permission by the Premier League for Cavani to take James' vacant No 21 jersey, with Cristiano Ronaldo reclaiming the No 7 shirt from Cavani.

Ronaldo expressed his gratitude towards Cavani: "I wasn't sure if it would be possible to have the number seven shirt again. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Edi for this incredible gesture."

The No. 7 jersey has been Iconic for Manchester United formerly donning it by David Beckham, George Best, Bryan Robson and Eric Cantona.
