Frank Lampard's second stint as Chelsea Manager ends in a defeat against Wolves

New Manager, Same Old Chelsea!!!

Chelsea Football Club suffered another defeat in the Premier League on Saturday, as they were beaten 1-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. The result, which leaves the Blues in 11th place in the table, seventh points behind Champions league places, was a huge disappointment for Frank Lampard’s team.

The game began with Chelsea seemingly in control. The opening exchanges of a poor first half were dominated by a flurry of corners - 12 within the first 25 minutes - but there was still little goalmouth action. However, it was Wolves who took the lead in the 31th minute, with M. Nunes scoring a superb goal from the edge of the box.

The second half began with more energy from Chelsea but the Blues' gung-ho mindset led to two glorious counter-attacks from Wolves, who should have added to their lead but made the wrong decision on both occasions.

Chelsea would finish the game with over 60% on target but just Felix's first-half strike in the shots-on-target column, summing up what was a miserable afternoon for the Blues.

It is certainly not the end of the road for the Blues, but a disastrous start for Lampard and his team. They must now try to pick themselves up from this setback and focus on their remaining league games.

This is turning out to be the worst campaign for Chelsea in recent memory. This outstrips that season under Jose where the team finished 10th. Chelsea have the bulk of the possession in every game but goals don’t come at all. Chelsea have played more Premier League games this season than they've scored goals.

REAL MADRID: THE KINGS OF EUROPE

Real Madrid won 3 three consecutive UCL titles during 2016–2018 because they had a great squad , a great man manager and p one of the greatest football player of all time if not the greatest in Cristiano Ronaldo.  Zidane's tenure started in January 2016 and took over a struggling side and managed to conquer the Camp Nou in his first visit. Why has Italy won the World Cup the most amongst European nations?

Let me tell you , Germany now has the same number of world cups as that of Italy. But yes, When it comes to major achievements in the international arenas, no nation has won as much as the Mediterranean country. So what is the secret behind this success? Madonna once famously flaunted a slogan T-Shirt with the caption: "Italians do it better". And while the Princess of Pop was suggestively alluding to another physically popular pastime, she could just as well have been referring to soccer. Tactical Supremacy On a purely footballing level, there is little doubt that Italy’s tactical supremacy has been a key weapon.Whether it be Helenio Herrera’s Catenaccio, Sacchi’s total pressing or Luciano Spalletti’s ‘False 9’, the peninsula has long been at the forefront of strategic innovation. There is a unique obsession with tactics in Italy. Its importance is drilled into children from a young age and Jose Mourinho once amusingly remarked that “everyone in Italy thinks they...
