The quick goal appeared to influence Juventus, who kept attacking and making chances. Udinese aimed to recover and find their flow, but Juventus stayed in control. Udinese had an opportunity to level the score in the 9th minute when Florian Thauvin earned a free kick in a risky spot. Yet, the subsequent free kick was effectively blocked by the Juventus defense.

During the initial half's advancement, Juventus sustained control of the ball and crafted opportunities. Udinese's defense faced a challenge as Juventus launched a sequence of shots and offensive maneuvers. Udinese found it tough to breach Juventus' defensive line and produce substantial attacks, with their efforts hindered by resolute defending and goalkeeper performance.

In the 20th minute, Juventus got a prime chance to widen their advantage. A penalty was given to Juventus after Festy Ebosele from Udinese was judged to have touched the ball in the penalty box. Dusan Vlahovic took the penalty and expertly put it in with his left foot, guiding the ball to the lower left corner of the net. This converted penalty propelled Juventus to a commanding 2-0 lead.

The goals appeared to invigorate Juventus, who carried on with their grip on the match and crafting opportunities to score. Conversely, Udinese faced difficulties in finding their groove and launching a notable counter. Juventus' midfield, specifically, was adept at steering the game's tempo and impeding Udinese's efforts to initiate attacks from their defensive lines.

As the opening half approached its end, Udinese had a couple of chances to reduce the deficit. Florian Thauvin and Beto tried shots from beyond the box, but their attempts were either blocked or off-target. Udinese's offensive endeavors were met with a sturdy Juventus defense, with players like Alex Sandro and Danilo showcasing strong defensive contributions.

In the last moments of the initial half, Juventus scored once more. Adrien Rabiot skillfully headed the ball into the net from an extremely short distance, benefiting from a precisely positioned cross by Andrea Cambiaso. This goal stretched Juventus' lead to 3-0, further underlining their control in the game.

The initial half concluded with Juventus firmly at the helm, making the most of their scoring chances and adeptly thwarting Udinese's offensive attempts. Udinese confronted a challenging situation in the second half, requiring a substantial reversal to rejoin the contest. Meanwhile, Juventus entered the halftime interval with a reassuring lead, displaying ease and assurance in their performance.

In summary, the opening half highlighted Juventus' strong offense and resolute defense, whereas Udinese faced difficulties in penetrating and finding their balance. The goals by Federico Chiesa, Dusan Vlahovic, and Adrien Rabiot granted Juventus a leading position, and they aimed to uphold their energy in the second half. On the contrary, Udinese required a strategic reevaluation to stage a comeback and contest Juventus' supremacy during the rest of the match.
