How to watch Ligue 1 Matches in India?


Paris Saint-Germain had one of the best transfer windows in their history as they signed Barca Great Leo Messi, Real Madrid Legend Sergio Ramos, Euro Player of the tournament Donnarumma and Liverpool player Wijnaldum for free and also have acquired one of the best rising RB Hakimi in the 2021 summer transfer window.

They have one of the best teams currently according to pundits and all the fans around the globe are excited to see the debut match of Messi, who will play with Neymar and Mbappe in the front line.

Although, Ligue 1 matches are not telecasted in India. Broadcasting giants Star Sports and Sony Networks didn't show any interest at all in buying rights.

Also, French channel TV5Monde Asie has been telecasting the Ligue 1 matches since long in India in their feeds. But the channel shows only a single Ligue 1 match per week.

Unfortunately, PSG's second campaign kick off game against Strasbourg on 15th August won’t be telecasted on the channel.
However, Brest vs PSG, 3rd match of PSG, is scheduled to be telecasted on TV5Monde on 21st August.

As there is no official streaming partner to show Ligue 1 in India. Amazon Prime Video is trying to acquire the broadcasting rights of Ligue 1 so that South Asian fans can witness that.
